Mom lives alone but can no longer manage her house. She used to take pride in her home, keeping it in perfect condition. But now the weeds are knee-high, small trees are growing in the gutters and neighbors are concerned. I live 4 hours away and have asked her numerous times to move in with me, but every time I bring up the subject, she refuses to do so. Recently her neighbor called me after she fell. She’s going to be in rehab for a while, but the doctor has told her she cannot go home. Her only option is to move into an assisted living community. Now, how can I sell her house for her?
